Return/Exchange Policy

We are so sorry your purchase did not work out. Please keep in mind we are a small business who strives to bring you frequent new arrivals. Here's what you can do:

To start a return, please email cowtowncottontails@gmail.com with your order number and reason of return. Please note, we do not provide or pay for return shipping labels and you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. 

We have a 14-day return for store credit policy. You have 14 days from the day your order was delivered (the date listed on tracking receipt) to return to us FOR STORE CREDIT ONLY. 

To be eligible for a return for store credit, your item(s) must be in its original condition that you received it, with tags attached, be unwashed or unworn or unused or unaltered, free of pet hair, deodorant, makeup, and in its original packaging. You'll need receipt or proof of purchase. Any item not in its original condition and are not in compliance with our return policy will be shipped back to the customer at their expense and will not be issued store credit. After 14 days, we are unable to accept returns on any purchases. Any items marked FINAL SALE are unable to be returned for any reason. Please note preorder items or custom items are made to order and cannot be cancelled or returned.

Additional final sale, non-returnable items: 

  • Item(s) purchased with a store credit (partially or full)
  • Swimwear
  • Accessories (sunglasses, bows, books, stuffed animals etc.)
  • All sale and discounted items are final sale
  • Holiday/seasonal items are non returnable
  • Gift Cards

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund in the form of store credit, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If returns do not meet the requirements above, we will contact you and the items will be returned to you at your expense. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the items have any signs of wear, misuse or damage by the customer. Subject to change.

Please allow 5-7 business days for your return to be processed. Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email with your store credit after the return has been processed.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

EXCHANGES

Due to the nature of the business and quantities ever changing, we do not offer exchanges at this time. However, we do offer store credit on qualifying returns if your item does not work out.

WE DO NOT CANCEL ORDERS AFTER THEY ARE PLACED. 

Lost Packages:

We cannot be held responsible for lost/stolen/damaged packages. After your order has a tracking number and has been scanned in via UPS or USPS it is no longer under our control. If an order is lost you will need to file a claim directly with the carrier, they are liable. No refunds/store credit will be given for lost/stolen/damaged/misdelivered packages. 

If your package is returned to us as undeliverable for any reason, you may receive a refund in the form of store credit (minus shipping costs) if your order is eligible or you will be responsible for exact shipping costs to reship.
